By using a certified contractor participating in the Maryland Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program, homeowners can rest assured that they are using the most qualified contractors in the State to diagnose and fix their home’s energy and comfort issues. The average homeowner saves more than 20% on their energy bills through the Home Performance process.

A participating contractor in the Maryland Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program will perform a home energy audit and provide recommendations for improvements to the homeowner.
